Afghanistan
My son's base in Afghanistan (COP Wilderness) was hit by a mortar attack today. My son is fine, and said it isn't what it sounds like (just wait until he becomes a parent).
But for all of you who have relatives in any branch of military service, know that my heart goes out to you. Thank you for being here, and being the sweet people you are. We here in the Gregorian fan community are very lucky people.
