Friday Duisburg...

What a nice evening, what a good concert... We are going to the concert in Duisburg, we are ther with more Dutch fans.. It was 10 yaers Gregorian, with start Brothers in Arms... After the show, I speak with some boys and members of the band... Also we give them (Vanni is kaming this) a present for there 10 years anniversary.. An "Golden record" with our names on it... Memorial Day

Today, 8th of September, is the 68th Anniversary of the beginning of The Siege of Leningrad (Saint-Petersburg). It is also known as The Leningrad Blockade. It was an unsuccessful military operation by the Axis powers to capture Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg) during World War II.The siege started when the last land connection to the city was severed. Afghanistan

My son's base in Afghanistan (COP Wilderness) was hit by a mortar attack today. My son is fine, and said it isn't what it sounds like (just wait until he becomes a parent).
