Dear Viktoria,

My first name is Nancy, pleased to see you here :)

It was late last year I saw Gregorian on youtube, and have been hooked ever since. Strange, since the group has been around for years! Better late than never though :)

Hope all is well with you and your family,

Welcome to the site Viktoria!
Your lucky to live in Germany - the land of Gregorian Concerts :-)

Dear Victoria,

Yes I listen to them every day as well. A day without Gregorian has something missing :)

I have many favorites; 'My Immortal', 'Only You' 'Bonny Portsmore', 'Wicked Games', and anything featuring Ted Hands..such wonderful voices :)

Have a safe and fun weekend :)

Hi Viktoria,
I discovered Gregorian through a friend about 4 years ago, Last year I went to some of the summer open air concerts - it's amazing live!

My favourite Albums are MoC IV, The DarkSide and MoC VI

The songs I love the most are : My Immortal, Be, Unbeliever, Boulevard Of Broken Dreams, Moment of peace and The Circle

What are your favourite songs?

Dear Viktoria, welcome to this wonderful Gregorian site!! New York must have been an exciting time for you! When I was young I lived in London, Wiesbaden, and Amsterdam and it was a very exciting time for my family and I, (66-70). What part of Germany do you reside in? I became a Gregorian fan just before last Christmas and it was exactly what I needed!!! My family and I were into rock'n'roll, so it was a natural thing, for many of the Gregorian songs were our favorites already! We were going through a very spiritual time and the spiritual part of Gregorian was what we needed. I do not have all of the CDs or DVDs, but I will buy The Dark Side, Chapter IV, and Chapter VII, as soon as I can. I can also listen to Gregorian all day long for it really is a soul soothing device.

When I look at the internet, in general, I find it to be closed and secret, and this site is open and more of a communication tool between people and friends. Which I believe is what we need in the difficult times the world is now facing. I love personal photos and personal information about my friends although I would never demand it. I am a strong believer in a world order of love, not in the world order of control that our leaders believe in!!! I believe that our love should be much greater than our fear, and Gregorian has the spirit of love woven throughout its music!!! What a blessing!!!!

Please enjoy this site and take care of yourself, with love and peace, your new friend, Alan

Dear Viktoria, I am glad that you took my meaning in the way that it was intended. Not everyone took it that way and it was a good learning experience for me as a communicator. Thank you for your wonderful comments about my way of writing, for it always helps when someone complements your work!!:)) I started writing when I was at the university. I realized that I was learning more by writing, than by reading. My biggest problem was my spelling and in those days you could not look up a word in the dictionary. When I was forty I started writing poetry and letters of protest. I did this for about four years and then I stopped writing, because I was too busy with home renovation. My family and I moved to the inner city in 1978 and I bought a house for one dollar in a run down neighborhood, the house was condemned. I learned with hands on experience and working on other houses for money. Today I am a proficient carpenter and a proud father!

Today I am retired and my kids are all grown, and I am still working on my, "one dollar", house!
About six months ago I started to write again and this came to me when I learned of the Gregorian Masters of Chant and this wonderful site, plus the work I do with my personal web site. My passion is not the writing itself, but the ideas I have in my head & heart about our salvation.

I've been to Bonn, but not to Berlin. I always wanted to visit Berlin, but the wall was in my way! My grandparents were from Berlin and I believe that I can say; Ich bin ein Berliner!

Please take are of yourself, with love and peace, your friend, Alan
